Motivasi Siswa Kelas IV Dan V Dalam Mengikuti Senam Indonesia Hebat Di UPT SD N 13 Sembilan Koto Kabupaten Dharmasraya

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik siswa kelas IV dan V dalam mengikuti Senam Anak Indonesia Hebat di UPT SD Negeri 13 Sembilan Koto, Kabupaten Dharmasraya. Penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi berjumlah 109 peserta didik, sedangkan sampel terdiri atas 38 siswa kelas IV dan V yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket motivasi berskala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, kemudian dianalisis dengan persentase. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa motivasi keseluruhan berada pada kategori baik; 32 siswa (84,21%) berkategori baik dan 6 siswa (15,79%) sangat baik. Motivasi intrinsik mencakup 1 siswa (2,63%) berkategori cukup, 33 siswa (86,84%) baik, dan 4 siswa (10,53%) sangat baik. Motivasi ekstrinsik mencakup 18 siswa (47,37%) berkategori baik dan 20 siswa (52,63%) sangat baik. Tidak terdapat siswa berkategori kurang atau kurang sekali. Guru dan sekolah perlu mempertahankan motivasi melalui arahan, penguatan positif, kegiatan menarik, dan sarana yang memadai dan sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa.
This study aimed to describe the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of fourth- and fifth-grade students participating in Senam Anak Indonesia Hebat at UPT SD Negeri 13 Sembilan Koto, Dharmasraya Regency. A quantitative descriptive survey design was used. The population comprised 109 students, while the sample consisted of 38 fourth- and fifth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a validated and reliable Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using percentages. Overall motivation was classified as good; 32 students (84.21%) were in the good category and 6 students (15.79%) were in the very good category. Intrinsic motivation included 1 student (2.63%) in the fair category, 33 students (86.84%) in the good category, and 4 students (10.53%) in the very good category. Extrinsic motivation included 18 students (47.37%) in the good category and 20 students (52.63%) in the very good category. No students were classified as poor or very poor. Teachers and schools should maintain motivation through clear guidance, positive reinforcement, engaging activities, and adequate facilities.
