Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan konteks Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains dan kesadaran keberlanjutan siswa SMA pada materi pemanasan global. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest. Partisipan penelitian adalah 50 siswa kelas X pada salah satu SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Bogor yang dipilih melalui teknik convenience sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen tes untuk mengukur kemampuan literasi sains dan angket untuk mengetahui profil kesadaran keberlanjutan siswa. Analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan N-gain, didukung dengan hasil angket kesadaran keberlanjutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berada pada kategori sangat baik (87,72%), penerapan model PBL dengan konteks ESD memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains dengan kategori N-gain "Sedang" (0,548), serta didukung dengan hasil angket kesadaran keberlanjutan yang memperoleh persentase 84,38% dengan kategori "Sering Dilakukan". Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa integrasi PBL dan ESD merupakan alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk mengembangkan kompetensi abad ke-21 sekaligus menumbuhkan kepedulian siswa terhadap isu keberlanjutan..
