Participatory Action Research pada Komunitas Pekerja Indonesia di Malaysia: Upaya Meningkatkan Manajemen Diri

Survey awal komunitas wanita yang bekerja di Johor, Malaysia menunjukkan pertama rata-rata usia 32-37. Kedua Masalah Pendidikan: 63.6% mitra berpendidikan SMA dan 18,2% berpendidikan SMP. Mereka juga kurang memiliki keterampilan khusus. Kedua, Masalah Manajemen diri: 45.5% mitra mengalami kesulitan manajemen diri. Ketiga, Masalah Orientasi masa depan : Hanya 9% dari mitra yang mempersiapkan diri menghadapi masa depan jika harus kembali ke tanah air. Tujuan pengabdian: pertama mengadakan pelatihan goal setting. Kedua memberikan pelatihan kewirausahaan yang difokuskan pada pelatihan membuat batik Shibori. Adapun metode yang ditempuh dalam pengabdian ini adalah pertama mengeksplorasi masalah, ekplorasi sumberdaya mitra kemudian memberikan mereka pelatihan Manajemen Diri, Pelatihan Membatik. Hasil pengabdian adalah terciptanya manajemen diri bagi para perempuan pekerja di Johor. Ada peningkatan pengetahuan tentang manajemen diri, jika dilihat dari peningkatan skor pre tes dibandingkan dengan skor post tes. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan bahwa peserta yang mendapatkan skor antara 14-20 sebesar 70%, tetapi prosentase turun menjadi 40% setelah tes. Prosentase peserta yang mendapatkan skor 21-27 juga mengalami perubahan, sebesar 40% pre tes dan sebesar 60% post test. Prosentase peserta yang mendapatkan skor 28-34 juga meningkat, sebesar 40% pre tes dan sebesar 50% post test.
Participatory Action Research on Indonesian Worker Communities in Malaysia: Efforts to Improve Self-Management
Preliminary surveys of working women's communities in Johor, Malaysia showed the first average age of 32-37. Second Education Issues: 63.6% of partners are high school educated and 18.2% are middle school educated. They also lack special skills. Second, Self-management Problems: 45.5% of partners have difficulty self-management. Third, The Problem of Future Orientation: Only 9% of partners prepare for the future if they have to return to the country. The devotion aims to: first hold goal setting training. The second provides entrepreneurship training focused on training in making Shibori batik. The method taken in this service is to first explore the problem, explore partner resources then provide them with Self-Management training, Batik Training. There was an increase in knowledge about self-management, when seen from the increase in pre-test scores compared to post-test scores. The pre-test results showed that participants who scored between 14-20 amounted to 70%, but the percentage dropped to 40% after the test. The percentage of participants who scored 21-27 also changed, amounting to 40% pre-test and 60% post-test. The percentage of participants who scored 28-34 also increased, 40% pre test and 50% post test.
