Abstract

Improving the Quality of Student Entrepreneurship Proposals Through Soft Skill and Hard Skill Training

Abstract: The Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to improve the quality of Student Creativity Program (PKM) proposals in the field of entrepreneurship by strengthening Soft Skills and Hard Skills through the training provided. This research involved 15 Bachelor of Applied Science and Technology (S1 FSTT) students from the Mandalika University of Education. The implementation uses the science and technology transfer method with planning, implementation and evaluation stages. The results show a significant increase in students' entrepreneurial abilities in Soft Skills and Hard Skills. A better understanding of these two skills has the potential to improve the quality of entrepreneurial PKM proposals. This success was reflected in the high positive response from students, with 96.1% of them expressing satisfaction with the program, confirming the effectiveness of the training. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating Soft Skills and Hard Skills training to improve the quality of students' entrepreneurial PKM proposals, which can be used as a basis for further development in higher education. In the development of similar programs in the future, it is recommended to expand the participants to be more representative of various disciplines, extend the duration of training, and align the material with the needs of the job market. Ongoing monitoring of the long-term impact of training is also critical to ensuring program sustainability and effectiveness.
