Pelatihan Penanganan Korban Kecelakaan Lalu Lintas Bagi Siswa di SMAN 3 Kota Prabumulih

Kecelakaan lalu lintas dapat menyebabkan kerugian yang serius, baik dari segi korban jiwa maupun kerusakan. Kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam memberikan pertolongan pertama seringkali memperburuk kondisi korban. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa dalam memberikan pertolongan pertama pada korban kecelakaan lalu lintas, mengingat tingginya angka kecelakaan di Indonesia. Metode pelatihan mencakup teori dasar pertolongan pertama, simulasi praktis, dan studi kasus. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan siswa. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, dengan hasil pre-test yang menunjukkan hanya 23% siswa menjawab lebih dari 10 pertanyaan dengan benar, sedangkan hasil post-test menunjukkan 83% siswa menjawab lebih dari 10 pertanyaan dengan benar. Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan kesadaran akan pentingnya keselamatan di jalan raya. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa pelatihan semacam ini sangat bermanfaat dan direkomendasikan untuk diadopsi oleh sekolah lain sebagai bagian dari program pendidikan keselamatan lalu lintas.
Training In Handling Traffic Accident Victims for Students at SMAN 3 Prabumulih City
Abstract
Traffic accidents can cause severe losses, both in terms of casualties and damage. Lack of knowledge and skills in providing first aid often worsens the victim's condition. This training aims to improve students' knowledge and skills in providing first aid to traffic accident victims, considering the high number of accidents in Indonesia. The training methods include basic first aid theory, practical simulations, and case studies. Evaluation is conducted through pre-tests and post-tests to measure the increase in students' knowledge, attitudes, and skills. The training results show a significant increase, with pre-test results indicating only 23% of students answered more than 10 questions correctly, while post-test results showed 83% of students answered more than 10 questions correctly. Additionally, there was an increase in awareness of the importance of road safety. This article concludes that such training is very beneficial and is recommended for adoption by other schools as part of their traffic safety education program.
