Pendampingan Penguatan Praktik Lapangan Persekolahan (PLP) Berbasis Praktik Profesional Dan Inkuiri Profesional (PPIP) di UIN Sumatera Utara

Pelaksanaan PLP di sekolah belum sepenuhnya mengusung komponen planning, do dan memberikan umpan balik (feedback). Terdapat beberapa masalah terkait dengan proses pendampingan kegiatan PLP seperti: 1) kurangnya pendampingan dari DPL, hal ini titunjukkan dengan ketidakhadiran DPL saat monitoring dan evaluasi. DPL hanya mengantar mahasiswa di awal kegiatan setelah itu dating ke sekolah pada saat penjemputan mahasiswa di akhir pelaksanaan PLP. 2) Pendampingan dari guru pamong yang belum maksimal. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari tidak ada nya proses pendampingan dalam penyusunan RPP, menentuan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan materi ajar, pembuatan bahan ajar dan jarang mengamati siswa saat praktik di kelas. 3) Kurangnya keterampilan dasar mengajar yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa praktikan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada DPL dan GP dalam melakukan pendampingan kegiatan PLP berbasis Praktik Profesional dan Inkuiri Profesional.
