Pengolahan Ikan Patin Sebagai Makanan Tambahan Dalam Pencegahan Stunting

Stunting merupakan isu kesehatan prioritas nasional. Diberbagai daerah pencegahan stunting telah melibatkan peran aktif masyarakat, peran aktif rumah tangga, orang tua yang memiliki anak. Rokan Hulu merupakan kabupaten dengan daftar 100 kabupaten/kota prioritas untuk intervensi anak kerdil (stunting) dengan prevalensi jumlah balita stunting sebesar 59,01% pada tahun 2013. Sedangkan Kecamatan Rambah samo termasuk 7 kecamatan yang memiliki desa dengan lokus stunting pada tahun 2022 dan 2023. Salah satunya desa Karya Mulya yang menjadi desa lokus Stunting. Persoalan ini perlu penangganan serius tidak hanya menghandalkan program dari pemerintah tetapi juga melibatkan perguruan tinggi dan peran aktif ibu rumah tangga. Dalam rangka mencegah atau meminimalisir stunting Tim Kuliah kerja nyata Universitas Riau Desa karya Mulya melaksanakan program kerja Pemberian Makanan Tambahan yaitu Bubur Ikan patin yang bekerja sama dengan Kader Posyandu Desa Karya Mulya dan melibatkan 4 anak sebagai percobaan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode observasi, sosialisasi dan pemberian PMT. Inovasi yang dilakukan adalah mengolah ikan patin menjadi bubur yang sebelumnya bahkan belum pernah dibuat di desa Karya Mulya. Bubur diberikan kepada empat balita selama 9 hari. Hasilnya pada balita satu mengalami kenaikan berat badan 0,8 g, balita dua mengalami kenaikan berat badan 0,2 g, balita tiga mengalami penurunan berat badan 0,1 g, dan balita empat juga mengalami penurunan berat badan 0,1 g. Mengingat bahwa stunting merupakan permasalahan kesehatan yang sangat serius maka program ini hendaknya dilanjutkan dalam bentuk dukungan dari Pemerintah Desa Karya Mulya mengenalkan budidaya ikan patin ke masyarakat serta berbagai olahan berbahan dasar ikan patin.
Catfish Processing As Additional Food In Stunting Prevention
Stunting is a national priority health issue. In various areas stunting prevention has involved the active role of the community, the active role of households, parents with children. Rokan Hulu is a district with a list of 100 priority districts/cities for stunting interventions with a prevalence while the number of stunting under-fives was 59.01% in 2013. Rambah samo sub-district includes 7 sub-districts that have villages with stunting loci in 2022 and 2023. One of them is the village of Karya Mulya which is the village of the Stunting locus. This problem needs serious handling, not only relying on programs from the government but also involving universities and the active role of housewives. In order to prevent or minimize stunting, the University of Riau Desa Karya Mulya Real Work Lecture Team carried out a Supplementary Food Provision program, namely Catfish Porridge in collaboration with Posyandu Cadres in Karya Mulya Village and involved 4 children as an experiment. This activity was carried out using the method of observation, socialization and giving PMT. The innovation made is to process catfish into porridge which has never been made in Karya Mulya village before. Porridge was given to four toddlers for 9 days. As a result, toddlers one experienced a weight gain of 0.8 grams, toddler two experienced a weight loss of 0.2 grams, toddler three experienced a weight loss of 0.1 grams, and toddler four also experienced a weight loss of 0.1 grams. that stunting is a very serious health problem, this program is considered in the form of support from the Karya Mulya Village Government in introducing catfish cultivation to the community and various preparations made from catfish.
