The Relationship Between Work Stress, Workload, Turnover Intention, and Employee Performance at Bingxue in Mataram City
Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the relationships between work stress, workload, turnover intention, and employee performance at Bingxue in Mataram City. The study employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design and a cross-sectional method. The sample consisted of 30 employees selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that, partially, work stress did not have a significant effect on employee performance. Workload had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, whereas turnover intention had a negative and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, work stress, workload, and turnover intention significantly affected employee performance. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.891 indicated that 89.1% of the variation in employee performance could be explained by the three variables, while the remaining 10.9% was influenced by other factors outside the study. Turnover intention was found to be the most dominant variable affecting employee performance at Bingxue in Mataram City.
