Strategi Peningkatan Kualitas Tilawah dan Hifzhil Qur’an Qari-Qariah melalui Seleksi Tilawatil Qur’an XXVIII Kota Jayapura

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas tilawah dan hafalan Al-Qur’an para qari/qariah serta hafizh/hafizhah Kota Jayapura yang akan mewakili pada STQ XXVIII tingkat Provinsi Papua. Masalah utama mitra adalah rendahnya prestasi peserta STQ Kota Jayapura di tingkat provinsi dan nasional, akibat keterbatasan waktu pembinaan dan tidak adanya sistem pelatihan terpusat. Program dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan: (1) koordinasi dan perencanaan dengan lima mitra, yaitu LPTQ Kota Jayapura, pemerintah kota, Kementerian Agama, lima LPTQ distrik, dan universitas mitra; (2) seleksi peserta STQ tingkat kota sebanyak 48 peserta dari lima distrik; (3) pelatihan terpusat berbasis metode talaqqi dan murajaah dengan evaluasi terstruktur menggunakan rubrik standar nasional. Evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada tajwid, fashahah, hafalan, serta kepercayaan diri peserta sebesar 35%. Dukungan terpadu mitra menjadi kunci keberhasilan, menjadikan program ini model pembinaan Qur’ani berkelanjutan yang dapat direplikasi dan mendorong generasi Qur’ani unggul.
Strategic Efforts to Enhance the Tilawah and Hifzhil Qur’an Competence of Qari-Qariah through the 28th Tilawatil Qur’an Selection at the Jayapura City Level
This community service program aims to improve the quality of Qur’anic recitation and memorization among qari/qariah and hafizh/hafizhah representing Jayapura City at the 28th Provincial STQ (Tilawatil Qur’an Selection) in Papua. The main issue faced by partners is the low achievement of Jayapura participants at provincial and national levels, caused by limited training time and the absence of a centralized coaching system. The program was carried out in three phases: (1) coordination and planning involving five partners — Jayapura City LPTQ, the city government, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, five district LPTQs, and a partner university; (2) city-level participant selection, involving 48 participants from five districts; and (3) centralized training using talaqqi and murajaah methods combined with structured evaluations based on national standard rubrics. Quantitative evaluation showed significant improvements in tajwid, fashahah, memorization, and a 35% boost in participant confidence. The integrated support of partners was key to this program’s success and its potential as a replicable, sustainable Qur’anic coaching model
