Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to increase public understanding and concern for the mangrove environment in the Muara Indah coastal area, Deli Serdang Regency. Service partners are community members in the Deli Serdang beach area. The method used in this community service is a persuasive approach with the extension method. The level of understanding of partners on all indicators increased from 30.8 to 82.7 with an average increase of 51.8. This shows that partners understand and master mangrove environmental materials in terms of maintaining and caring for them. Extension and training activities still need to be carried out on an ongoing basis so that the community really understands and is aware of keeping the surrounding environment in balance.

    Zuhriati Khalid,SH,M.Kn, Lahir di Medan pada tanggal 24 Agustus 1983,Lulus S1 di Fakultas Hukum Universitas Sumatera Utara ,dan melanjutkan ke jenjang S2 prodi Magister Kenotariatan dan lulus Tahun 2015. Menekuni profesi sebagai dosen sejak tahun 2015, dan menjadi dosen tetap di Fakultas Hukum Universitas Harapan Medan sejak tahun 2017. Berbagai macam diklat guna peningkatan kompetensi dosen telah banyak diikuti baik tingkat regional maupun tingkat Nasional, Aktif juga dalam berbagai organisasi masyarakat dan organisasi profesi.
