Bojonggeede, Kab. Bogor Kegiatan pemeriksaan IVA test dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 Juni 2022 dengan peserta sebanyak 16 orang yang berdomisili di wilayah sekitar tempat praktek mandiri Bidan Dian Dwi Anggraeni, SST, Desa Pabuaran, Kec. Bojonggeede, Kab. Bogor.
Services To Reproductive Women Through Acetic Acid Visual Inspection Examination (Iva Test) As An Effort For Early Detection Of Cervical Cancer
Cervical cancer is characterized by the growth of abnormal cells in the cervix. It is estimated that 90 percent of cervical cancers are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). In Indonesia, it is estimated that every year there are 100 new patients per 100,000 population. This means that from a total of 237 million people, there are about 237,000 new cancer patients every year. In line with that, empirical data also shows that cancer deaths from year to year continue to increase. Based on the results of Riskesdas in 2018, cancer deaths until 2018 were 18.1 million cases and 9.6 million deaths in 2018. Cancer deaths are expected to continue to increase to more than 13.1 million in 2030. Currently, the coverage of cervical cancer screening in Indonesia through Pap smears and IVA is still very low (around 5%), even though the effective screening coverage in reducing morbidity and mortality due to cervical cancer is 85%. Therefore, the Midwifery Study Program at Gunadarma University which consists of ten lecturers and two students feels the need to screen for cervical cancer through the IVA test so that if a case or positive test result is found, it can be detected early and can reduce morbidity and mortality. The IVA test examination for WUS was carried out free of charge as a form of community service implementation (Abdimas) by a team of lecturers from the Gunadarma University Midwifery Study Program, in collaboration with BPKM of Midwife Dian Dwi Anggraeni, SST, Pabuaran Village, Kec. Bojonggeede, Kab. Bogor The IVA test was carried out on June 20, 2022, with 16 participants living in the area around the BPM of Midwife Dian Dwi Anggraeni, SST, Pabuaran Village, Kec. Bojonggeede, Kab. Bogor. Based on the examination carried out by WUS the results were negative
