Empowerment of Clean and Healthy Life Behavior Management Household Order in Karamat Village, Sukabumi City As A Form of Prevention Incident of Dental Fever
Efforts to eradicate DHF that have been carried out to date are efforts to break the chain by eradicating the vector of transmission, namely the Aedes aegypti mosquito by eradicating mosquito larvae. Based on the results of a survey directly to the Health Service, Sukabumi City is included in the DHF endemic area in West Java with an incidence rate (IR) or morbidity rate reaching 113/100,000 population, far above the limit of 49/100,000 people. In fact, at the beginning of 2022 there were 3 victims who died, of which two of the three cases of death occurred in Gunungpuyuh District, and one of the victims who died came from the Karamat Village. Ignorance of the community regarding the implementation of PHBS in the family setting as an effort to prevent DHF incidents in the community, even according to the PKK Coordinator of the Karamat Village, in his home environment there was a lot of stagnant water and clothes hanging carelessly. The subjects and objects in this activity were the people of Karamat Village, Gunungpuyuh District, Sukabumi City. Activities carried out to solve this problem are by providing counseling about the implementation of PHBS in the family setting as a preventive measure for DHF. The conclusion that can be drawn in this activity is that there is an increase in community knowledge about the application of PHBS in the family setting before and after being given counseling. before the counseling was carried out, it showed that 74% of the community did not clearly understand household PHBS, then after the counseling was carried out, the community's understanding regarding PHBS increased to 85% understood.
