Efektivitas Program Neuromuscular Five terhadap Kekuatan Otot Tungkai pada Pemain Sepak Bola Usia 17 Tahun: Uji Coba Teracak Dua Lengan di Klub Komunitas

Latar belakang: Pelatihan neuromuskular (NMT) diperkirakan meningkatkan kekuatan tungkai melalui adaptasi saraf—peningkatan rekrutmen unit motor, efisiensi stretch–shortening cycle (SSC), dan koordinasi inter-/intramuskular—sebelum kontribusi hipertrofi mendominasi. Tujuan: Mengevaluasi efektivitas program Neuromuscular Five (NMT-5) terhadap kekuatan otot tungkai pada pemain sepak bola usia 17 tahun di klub komunitas. Metode: Uji coba teracak dua lengan (1:1) dengan alokasi tersembunyi dan penilai sebisa mungkin dibutakan. Dua kelompok (N=26; intervensi=13, kontrol=13) mengikuti program latihan masing-masing dengan frekuensi setara. Outcome utama adalah kekuatan isometrik tungkai (kg) menggunakan leg dynamometer terstandar. Analisis prasyarat normalitas terpenuhi; uji t berpasangan digunakan untuk perubahan dalam-kelompok, dan uji t tidak berpasangan untuk perbandingan antar-kelompok. Hasil: Kelompok intervensi meningkat dari 105,88±16,48 kg menjadi 125,07±17,60 kg (?=+19,19 kg; 95%CI [+17,82; +20,56]; p<0,001). Kelompok kontrol meningkat dari 107,88±13,14 kg menjadi 112,69±12,85 kg (?=+4,81 kg; 95%CI [+3,32; +6,30]; p<0,001). Perbedaan rerata post-test antar-kelompok sebesar +12,38 kg cenderung mendukung intervensi namun belum signifikan pada ?=0,05 (p=0,052; 95%CI [?0,09; +24,86]). Kesimpulan: NMT-5 menghasilkan peningkatan dalam-kelompok yang besar dan bermakna pada kekuatan tungkai remaja, dengan arah efek antar-kelompok yang menjanjikan. Studi lanjutan dengan sampel lebih besar dan analisis utama ANCOVA dianjurkan untuk memperkuat inferensi kausal serta menilai kontribusi relatif adaptasi saraf dan hipertrofi.
