Pengembangan Aplikasi Berbasis Android untuk Digitalisasi Layanan Cuci Mobil: Menuju Layanan Otomotif yang Lebih Efisien dan Modern

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, khususnya pada perangkat seluler berbasis Android, telah menciptakan peluang yang signifikan untuk mendukung digitalisasi berbagai sektor layanan, termasuk layanan cuci mobil. Doorsmeer Dua Putra merupakan salah satu penyedia layanan yang masih mengandalkan sistem manual untuk registrasi pelanggan dan pemesanan layanan, sehingga mengakibatkan antrean panjang dan inefisiensi dalam pengelolaan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan aplikasi layanan cuci mobil berbasis Android yang memudahkan pelanggan untuk melakukan pemesanan, penjadwalan, dan pembayaran secara digital. Proses pengembangan meliputi analisis kebutuhan pengguna, perancangan antarmuka, dan penerapan fitur-fitur utama seperti pemesanan layanan, penjadwalan, informasi layanan, dan pengunggahan bukti pembayaran. Pengujian sistem atau aplikasi yang dikembangkan menggunakan Black Box Testing dan User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi dapat memenuhi kebutuhan penting pengguna dalam melakukan transaksi layanan cuci mobil secara lebih praktis dan efisien. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan teknologi berbasis Android dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan bagi usaha cuci mobil skala kecil hingga menengah. Penelitian ini berbeda dari penelitian terdahulu karena mengintegrasikan sistem pemesanan, penjadwalan, pembayaran digital, serta monitoring admin dalam satu platform Android untuk layanan cuci mobil skala UMKM.
Digitalization of Car Wash Services: Toward More Efficient and Modern Automotive Service Delivery
Abstract
The rapid advancement of information and communication technology particularly Android-based mobile devices has created significant opportunities to support the digitalization of various service sectors, including car wash services. Doorsmeer Dua Putra is a car wash service provider that still relies on a manual system for customer registration and service booking, resulting in long queues and inefficiencies in data management. This study aims to design and develop an Android-based car wash service application that enables customers to place orders, schedule services, and make payments digitally. The development process encompasses user needs analysis, interface design, and the implementation of core features such as service booking, scheduling, service information, and uploading payment receipts. The developed system was evaluated using Black-Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The results indicate that the application meets users’ key requirements for conducting car wash transactions more practically and efficiently. Accordingly, the adoption of Android-based technology offers an effective solution for improving service quality among small- to medium-scale car wash businesses. This study differs from prior research by integrating booking, scheduling, digital payments, and administrative monitoring within a single Android platform tailored to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) car wash services.
