Pelatihan Pendidikan Karakter Anak dan Keluarga bagi Kader PKK untuk Mendukung SDGs Desa Pandan Wangi

Desa Pandan Wangi di Kecamatan Jerowaru, Lombok Timur, menghadapi permasalahan rendahnya skor SDGs (43,10) yang mencerminkan lemahnya ketahanan keluarga dan belum optimalnya pemenuhan hak dasar anak usia dini. Kondisi ini diperburuk oleh migrasi kepala keluarga ke luar negeri serta rendahnya kapasitas kader PKK dalam menjalankan program pembinaan. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) dilaksanakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kapasitas kader PKK dalam pengembangan pendidikan karakter dan kesehatan anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) dengan pendekatan mezzo melalui dinamika kelompok. Kegiatan meliputi tahap sosialisasi, pelatihan dan penerapan teknologi, evaluasi, serta keberlanjutan program. Teknologi yang diterapkan berupa buku Membangun Karakter Anak Usia Dini dengan Metode Cerita, Contoh, Biasakan, dan Apresiasi (CCBA). PKM ini menyasar 30 kader PKK Desa Pandan Wangi pada periode Juli–September 2025. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan: kategori pemahaman “sangat baik” meningkat dari 6 menjadi 12 peserta, dan tidak ada lagi kader dengan kategori “kurang”. Monitoring dan evaluasi di PAUD Al-Ikhlas mengonfirmasi keterampilan kader dalam mempraktikkan metode CCBA melalui bercerita, pembiasaan, dan pemberian apresiasi. Kegiatan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader PKK, memperkuat peran mereka sebagai penggerak kesejahteraan keluarga, sekaligus mendukung pencapaian SDGs tujuan 3 (kehidupan sehat dan sejahtera), tujuan 4 (pendidikan berkualitas), dan tujuan 5 (kesetaraan gender). Kegiatan ini memperkenalkan pendekatan integratif berbasis metode CCBA yang belum banyak diterapkan secara sistematis dalam pelatihan kader PKK, sehingga memberikan kontribusi inovatif dalam pembinaan karakter anak usia dini.
Child and Family Character Education Training for PKK Cadres to Support the SDGs in Pandan Wangi Village
Abstract
Pandan Wangi Village in Jerowaru District, East Lombok, faces challenges reflected in its low SDGs score (43.10), which indicates weak family resilience and suboptimal fulfillment of early childhood rights. This condition is exacerbated by the migration of family heads abroad and the limited capacity of PKK cadres in carrying out family development programs. To address these issues, a Community Partnership Program (PKM) was implemented to strengthen the capacity of PKK cadres in promoting character education and child health within families. The program applied the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) method with a mezzo approach through group dynamics. Activities included socialization, training and technology implementation, evaluation, and program sustainability. The technology introduced was the book Building Early Childhood Character through the Story, Example, Habituation, and Appreciation (CCBA) Method. The program involved 30 PKK cadres from Pandan Wangi Village during July–September 2025. Evaluation results indicated a significant improvement: the “very good” category increased from 6 to 12 participants, and no cadres remained in the “poor” category. Monitoring at PAUD Al-Ikhlas confirmed that cadres successfully applied the CCBA method through storytelling, habituation, and appreciation in early childhood character building. This program effectively enhanced the knowledge and skills of PKK cadres, reinforced their role as agents of family welfare, and contributed to the achievement of SDGs Goal 3 (good health and well-being), Goal 4 (quality education), and Goal 5 (gender equality). This activity introduces an integrative approach based on the CCBA method, which has not yet been widely and systematically implemented in PKK cadre training, thereby providing an innovative contribution to character development in early childhood.
