Penyuluhan Penanganan Penyakit Degeneratif dan Pemeriksaan Kesehatan Gratis di Desa Banjarsari, Tulungagung

Penyakit degeneratif menyebabkan jaringan atau organ memburuk dari waktu ke waktu, sehingga menyebabkan kesakitan, dan terhambantnya aktivitas. Penyakit ini cenderung meningkat seiring bertambahnya usia sehingga lebih banyak dialami oleh lansia, sehingga diperlukan penyuluhan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan para lansia. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan cek keseahatan kepada masyarakat Desa Banjarsari, Kabupaten Tulungagung. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM adalah dengan pendampingan dan penyuluhan. Peserta penyuluhan adalah masyarakat, kader, dan kepala dusun. Hasil kegiatan PkM ini adalah tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai penyakit degeneratif dan pencegahan serta deteksi dini meningkat. Dari kegiatan PkM ini, masyarakat dapat memperoleh informasi yang tepat, valid, serta terpercaya terkait teknik penanganan penyakit degeneratif yang diderita.
Counseling on Handling Degenerative Diseases and Free Health Examination in Banjarsari Village, Tulungagung
Degenerative diseases cause tissues or organs to deteriorate over time, causing pain and inhibition of activity. This disease tends to increase with age so that it is more experienced by the elderly, so counseling is needed to increase the knowledge of the elderly. This community service aims to provide knowledge and health checks to the people of Banjarsari village, Tulungagung. The method of implementing community service activities is by mentoring and counseling. The extension participants were the community, cadres, and hamlet heads. The result of this community service activity is that the level of public knowledge about degenerative diseases and their prevention and early detection has increased. From this community service activity, the public can obtain appropriate, valid, and reliable information regarding techniques for treating degenerative diseases.
