Optimasi biaya bahan bakar pada pembangkit merupakan hal yang sangat penting untuk mengoptimalkan pemakaian sumber daya alam dan mengurangi dampak lingkungan. Fokus penelitian ini akan melakukan analisis biaya bahan bakar pada pembangkit listrik tenaga diesel di PT Sumber Rejeki Power menggunakan metode pendekatan simplex. Metode pendekatan simplex digunakan untuk mencari solusi optimal dalam hal pengaturan bahan bakar pada pembangkit yaitu dengan menganalisa data, serta perhitungan untuk mencapai hasil yang terukur dan menghasilkan sebuah pengambilan keputusan yang baik sehingga memiliki perkiraan perhitungan yang akurat untuk memperoleh minimum biaya. Hasil dari analisis ini yaitu metode simplex dapat diterapkan dalam optimasi pembangkit pada PT Sumber Rejeki Power dalam meminimasi penggunaan bahan bakar dari keterbatasan pembangkit yang dimiliki dan Excel’s Solver dapat membantu proses perhitungan minimasi bahan bakar secara cepat dan akurat sehingga penggunaan minimal bahan bakar yang diperoleh peneliti yaitu sebesar 133.843 Liter, dengan penggunaan sebelumnya 137.875 Liter dan didapatkan selisih sebesar 4032 Liter/hari.
Optimization of Fuel Costs for Diesel Power Generation Using the Simplex Approach Case
Abstract
Optimizing fuel costs in power plants is very important to optimize resource use and reduce environmental impact. The focus of this research will be to analyze the cost of fuel in a diesel power plant using the simplex approach. The Simplex approach method is used to find the optimal solution in terms of setting fuel at the plant, namely by analyzing data, as well as calculations to achieve measurable results, resulting in a good decision making so that it has an accurate calculation estimate to obtain a minimum cost. The results of this analysis the simplex model can be applied in optimizing generators at PT Sumber Rejeki Power in minimizing fuel use from the limitations of owned generators and Excel's Solver can help the calculation process of minimizing fuel in a fast and accurate cell so that the minimum use of fuel is obtained by the researcher, namely fuel cells. 133,843 Liters, with the use of cells 137,875 Liters and obtained a difference of 4032 Liters/day.
