This research explores the role of Canva as a modern educational tool in enhancing the motivation of students to learn English at the PLN Institute of Technology (ITPLN). With the increasing need to adopt digital tools in education, Canva emerges as a creative platform that bridges technology and pedagogy. The study utilized a quantitative approach involving 82 students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy, who responded to a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. The results show that a significant number of students found Canva helpful in increasing their interest, particularly in mastering vocabulary and understanding grammar concepts. Around 73% agreed that Canva sparked their curiosity in learning English, while 72% highlighted that group projects using Canva promoted collaboration and critical thinking. The platform’s user-friendly design and visually engaging features empowered students to create their own learning materials, thereby reinforcing both comprehension and digital literacy. Overall, the findings confirm Canva’s potential to support interactive, student-centered, and visually driven English instruction in higher education settings.
