Pengaruh Latihan Drill Passing Bawah Menggunakan Media Dinding dan Berpasangan terhadap Ketepatan Passing Bawah pada Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama

Ketepatan passing bawah merupakan keterampilan dasar yang penting dalam bola voli. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas latihan drill passing bawah menggunakan media dinding dan berpasangan dalam meningkatkan ketepatan passing bawah siswa SMP. Desain penelitian ini adalah "one group pretest-posttest" dengan sampel 25 siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 PAJO, yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok: kelompok latihan dengan media dinding dan berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kedua kelompok. Kelompok media dinding mengalami peningkatan rata-rata skor dari 29,46 (pre-test) menjadi 30,76 (post-test) dengan perbedaan rata-rata 1,31 (t = -2,44, p = 0,031), sementara kelompok berpasangan meningkat dari 27,00 menjadi 30,17 dengan perbedaan rata-rata 3,17 (t = -2,93, p = 0,014). Kesimpulannya, latihan berpasangan lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan ketepatan dan konsistensi passing. Disarankan agar metode ini diterapkan dalam pendidikan jasmani untuk melatih keterampilan teknis dan sosial siswa.
The Effect of Underhand Passing Drill Using Wall and Paired Practice on Underhand Passing Accuracy Among Middle School Students
Abstract
Underhand passing accuracy is a fundamental skill in volleyball. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using wall and paired drills to improve middle school students' underhand passing accuracy. Employing a one-group pretest-posttest design, 25 seventh-grade students from SMPN 1 PAJO were divided into two groups: wall-based and paired drills. Results show significant improvements in both groups. The wall-based group’s average score increased from 29.46 (pre-test) to 30.76 (post-test), with a mean difference of 1.31 (t = -2.44, p = 0.031). The paired group improved from 27.00 to 30.17, with a mean difference of 3.17 (t = -2.93, p = 0.014). Findings indicate paired drills were more effective in enhancing passing accuracy and consistency. The study recommends adopting this method in physical education to enhance students' technical and social skills.
